I'm a visual journalist based in San Diego. I'm currently the assistant visuals editor at CalMatters.

​My passion is making visuals that help better tell stories and make journalism accessible to everyone, especially for underserved communities. I take photos, make videos, illustrations and more.

​I'm a first-generation Mexican-American and bilingual in English and Spanish. I'm also a member of the San Diego-Tijuana National Association of Hispanic Journalists chapter.
